If the printed code is rubbed off the old belt, you can identify a replacement by measuring three things:
- Pitch: Measure the exact distance from the center of one tooth to the center of the next.
- Number of Teeth: Count the total number of teeth on the belt (or measure the total length).
- Width: Measure the top width of the belt.
Combining the pitch profile (e.g., 8M), the length (e.g., 1200), and the width (e.g., 30) gives you the standard industrial code (e.g., 1200-8M-30).
